We are looking for a technically minded individual to join the AmeriWater team as a Water Treatment Equipment Service Technician. The general responsibilities for this position are supporting AmeriWater’s reverse osmosis systems, water softeners, and other water purification systems through equipment installation, service and troubleshooting, as well as performing contract preventative maintenance, system startup, training, etc. This position also provides technical phone support in a backup role to the Senior Service Technician.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working individually or within a team setting, with direct contact with outside clients when necessary.
Competitive pay depending on experience. Biomedical experience a plus.

Education: High school diploma required; college degree, technical or vocational school preferred.
Experience: Applicable experience preferred. Dialysis Biomed training a plus

Position Summary: The Mechanical Designer is responsible for assisting in product development, support of product throughout life cycle and field sustainment, through use of CAD and calculations. This position, while working with personnel within the engineering group and under guidance, shall perform product engineering development (design of new products; modify existing products for improvement & enhancement, prototyping). Shall understand and utilize complex formulas while researching and investigating water purification field technologies. Understand and utilize mechanical and electrical engineering technology and sound judgment for use in the medical and industrial water purification field.
Essential Functions:

Administration of Processes and Regulatory Requirements: 30%

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):
Minimum education required – experience in related field
Preferred education – Some trade school/college with experience 2
Must be capable of efficiently and effectively working with the following:

Microsoft Excel
Microsoft Outlook
Should be capable of efficiently and effectively working with the following:
Intuitive Knowledge of Autodesk CAD suites (Inventor, Autocad, etc) or similar.
